Frequently Asked Questions
Officiant Questions
Do you book more than one wedding per day?
Elopements are possible depending on time and location, but I would never book two on the same day if I did not feel I would have adequate time. Additionally, I would seek the approval of both parties prior to double booking.
I am not from Indiana but plan to get married here. Can you help me?
Absolutely! My prices will not fluctuate because you're not a Hoosier. I am originally from Texas myself. The only difference is the price and location of the marriage license you must pick up from the county clerk's office.
If both parties are from out of state, you must get a marriage license from the county clerk's office in which you are getting married. However, if one person is a resident of Indiana, head to the nearest courthouse and pick up yours by appointment.
Do you conduct same-sex marriages?
I am proud to support all happy couples ready to tie the knot! LGBTQ+
I will be as inclusive, creative, and as flexible as possible to ensure it's exactly as you imagine it!
Can we review what is going to be said at the ceremony?
I encourage all couples to read and edit the personalized ceremony after it has been written, to ensure it is what you both want to be conveyed about your love.
Can you perform religious ceremonies?
I am an ordained minister in the state of Indiana. I can conduct both religious and secular ceremonies as couples request!
I dont want the mention of God or anything religious in my ceremony, is that possible?
I am a non-denominational officiant for the state of Indiana. I am happy to create a custom ceremony that captures your love and commitment while remaining authentic to your beliefs.
We are already legally married but no one knows. Can you still perform a ceremony for us in front of our friends and families, while keeping our secret?
Nowadays, it is ubiquitous for couples to get married at the local courthouse ahead of a ceremony or reception, especially with military couples. While it is illegal for me to conduct a fake wedding ceremony, if you can provide a copy of your marriage license before the big day - your secret is safe with me! No one will know the difference and you still get your vows!
Event & Wedding Planning
Will you conduct the wedding rehearsal?
Absolutely! On or off-site rehearsals are available for those who wish to practice the motions before the big day! Weekend rehearsals are based on availability.
Do you stay for the reception?
That is entirely up to you! It is not necessary to formally invite your officiant to the wedding reception. However, if you request it, I would be more than happy to oblige and join the festivities as a guest!
As a planner or event coordinator, you can expect me to be there for the entirety of the event. I will be on site from the time access to the venue is granted, working in the background, keeping everything on schedule, and preparing for what's next on the itinerary, all the way up to clean up!
I don't need a full service planner. Can you just help me with the parts I'm struggling with or don't have time to work on?
Of course! I offer several packages on my Services Page, but willing to create a special bundle just for you or the occasion!
I still have plenty of time before the event or haven't even set a date, but need to get the ball rolling. What should I do first?
Let's chat! I am available in person, via text, phone call, instant message, or video chat! Tell me your goals, ideas, and expectations. If you have a date already, great! If not, let's talk about what you should consider before we set one! It is never too early to begin planning a special moment.
I am not a party person, but my wife deserves something special this year. Can you help me plan a surprise party for her?
Of course! You will need an alibi to keep the party a surprise too, so tell me your vision and let me handle the rest. Together we can plan a party she won't soon forget!
Do you book more than one party, event, or wedding in a day?
Unless the two parties are for the same client or related in nature, I will only commit to one event at a time. When I accept the responsibility as your event planner, that couple or special occasion has my undivided attention and commitment!

My goal is to make the journey fun for my clients and alleviate stress during the process. In addition, I rely on recommendations and word of mouth for new clients.
